In June, Russettings Care Home had an exciting and eventful month. We organised trips out and spent more time enjoying their beautiful garden. Leading up to Father’s Day, we held reminiscing circles with family photos and conversations, followed by a delightful afternoon tea with loved ones.

Our home took a virtual trip around the world for inspiration for their menus, focusing on Africa and the Philippines. Some residents and staff had lived in these countries before, and their memories and experiences helped design the special menus. There were lively entertainment and music from different cultures, with a South African singer bringing back happy memories for residents and staff.

Overall, June was a month filled with diverse experiences, delicious international cuisines, joyful music and heartwarming outings for the residents at Russettings care home.
